In Greek mythology, Argus was a giant covered in eyes. He was killed by Hermes and the goddess Hera placed his eyes in the tail of the peacock.

This started out as just a life-drawing sketch and grew from there.

Awesome work!! Great texture on the hand, and the way the feather pattern is distorted by the cracks in the palms :D

The closest thing I can imagine to the thrill of being on a horse that is clearing big fences at speed is zooming down an icy mountain slope on skis :giggle:
